Do not put the Xbox system on the carpet because it gets too hot. Do what you do with the Xbox console as you do with the power supply unit. In other words, make sure the power adapter gets some air too.

I bet you that your Xbox will run a lot better now that you’ve done this. Take the time in between gaming sessions to let your Xbox chill for a bit and so you can relax your mind and body.
